Alex Nazlidis is a firm believer of the formula
(Science + Art) x Communication = Comprehension
and that is why he serves science as a biomedical designer, animator & communicator.
He received a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Visualization at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and prior to this, a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology & Genetics at the Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH).
His scientific background provides exceptional knowledge of health
sciences - from anatomy and pathophysiology to complex molecular biology. As a science communicator acquainted with learning theories, and as an artist experienced with visual storytelling, he creates a wide range of biomedical visualizations for educational and promotional purposes, with an emphasis on accuracy and appeal. He enjoys working closely with each client to bring their science to life with creative and effective visual solutions, for any audience and any purpose.
His goal is to create visually compelling and scientifically accurate visuals, either static or dynamic, to convey a story.
